Proof's in the pattern: The (not so) surprising link between your walls and your mood
Weβve always been obsessed with the idea that your walls should make you happy. So we went and commissioned some research to prove it. And the results? They're as good as a new roll of wallpaper.
Turns out, 57% of you agree your home directly impacts your moodβespecially during those dreary, darker months. And the best part? A huge 46% of you are officially over the whole white, grey, and beige thing! You're craving a burst of brightness, with the living room being the number one spot for a dose of decor-driven happiness. Bedrooms and dining rooms are next on the list for a shake-up.

You're a brave bunch, too, because nearly 18% of you are planning to take the plunge and try patterned wallpaper for the very first time. You can start small with cushions and statement art, but we say go bold! After all, your walls deserve a sugar rush.
Our study also found that 58% are determined to make their homes feel cosier as the cold snap approaches, and for 35% of you, this is the perfect excuse to ditch the beige and go bold. What kind of bold, you ask? You said florals, tropical prints, and abstract designs are the most uplifting, with sunshine colours like yellow, orange, and pink leading the way to banish winter gloom.
We get itβmaking a big change can feel nerve-wracking. We found that 63% of you have some nervousness about introducing brighter patterns, with worries about the space feeling too "busy" or not matching existing furniture. But, weβre here to help, whether you decide to drench, or dabble in pattern and colour
Following these findings, we've created a quiz to help you find your unique dopamine decor style and discover which bold look is going to bring you the most joy.
