Unlike its Cycladic neighbours, this design celebrates the island’s unique Neoclassical Italianate architecture, a vibrant, stacked amphitheatre of manor houses in shades of terracotta, pink, turquoise, and pale lemon. In the foreground, the crystal-clear Aegean laps against the harbour, where a fleet of traditional wooden kaikia, fishing boats, are rendered in exquisite, hand-painted detail, their bright colours reflecting in the rhythmic ripples of the port.
